@rel: Whaaaat? You had an eighties MR2 Turbo? TURBO? I thought those things are generally all supercharged? Oh well. That sucks so much that the mechanic wanted $12k USD to repair it, eighties MR2's go for sale for only a few grand here, even in good nick. I dunno what the used jap import market is like in America, but if you got quoted figures like that in Australia, you'd definitely be getting ripped off :(.
Ahh, such sexy eighties-style jap cars :). MR2 always looked like rocket ships.
I want a Mazda RX7 one day, one of the older FC body ones :D.
